چکیده
Although histological assessment can assist in many dermatological diagnoses, there has been a recent trend to add imaging modalities improve diagnostic accuracy. Ultrasound uses large array of frequencies that correspond various depths the skin: subcutaneous layer be viewed with high resolution. Subcutaneous nodules, deep-seated lesions deep dermis and layers, are attractive targets for ultrasound because they often show minimal visual changes on skin surface. The aim this work is review expanding body literature regarding use visualization nodules. A was conducted Covidence managing using electronic databases PubMed, Medline (ovid), Web Science, Google Scholar search terms ‘ultrasound,’ ‘dermatology,’ ‘subcutaneous nodule’, ‘panniculitis,’ ‘sarcoidosis,’ ‘granuloma annular’ ‘polyarteritis nodosa.’ yielded 474 results were screened. total 57 articles included written English involved nodules human patients. These case reports series characterized sonographic features sarcoidosis (irregular hypoechoic nodule perilesional hyperechoic portion), granuloma annulare ill-defined halo) or panniculitis (septal: thickening septa between fatty lobules; lobular: diffuse increase echogenicity lobules). Sonography shown non-invasive cost-effective technique capture images real-time without ionizing radiation. It help direct biopsies, facilitate appropriate treatment, monitor disease progression. More research required understand full potential larger variety dermatologic concerns.

Our state is located along the Pacific coast in the southwest of the Mexican Republic; a major feature is the huge range of the “Sierra Madre del Sur” mountains, that cross the full length of the state . Guerrero is divided into seven natural regions (Figure 1). It has a temperature t...
متن کاملUltrasound scanning in dermatology.
In recent years, ultrasound scanning has become an important diagnostic tool in dermatology. It is easy to use, completely safe, and provides important diagnostic information. There are 2 basic types of ultrasonography with dermatologic applications. The best established is 20-MHz scanning, which can be used to measure tumor thickness and/or skin thickness when treating inflammatory diseases su...

death to give reliable results. The postmortem interval as already defined established fixed limits for the interval and avoided possible overestimation of the amino acid concentration relative to time after death. Analysis of the results showed no evidence that a specific aminoacidopathy is implicated in the aetiology of cot death but has nevertheless improved our understanding of the biochemi...
متن کاملSubcutaneous rheumatoid nodules.
We describe seven children with subcutaneous rheumatoid nodules who had no clinical evidence of rheumatoid arthritis. Only one girl was seropositive for antinuclear factors and had a slightly raised erythrocyte sedimentation rate. Clinical aspects, risks for developing rheumatoid arthritis, and treatment of this entity are discussed.

A 29 year old male with rheumatoid arthritis (RA) of 10 years duration presented with multiple subcutaneous nodules of one month duration while on methotrexate (7.5 mg once a week), salazopyrine (1000 mg/day) and methyl prednisolone (4 mg/day). The nodules involved tendons of metacarpophalangeal joints (Figure 1) and base of left great toe (Figure 2), were painless and did not interfere with hi...
